Botworthy Score v3.0.3

v3.0.3: the SISTRIX study joins the evidence

26 October 2026

Evidence added, no weight or rule changes. SISTRIX's within-domain study of 96,418 URLs (October 2026) is the largest matched-pair test of page features so far and backs six criteria at roughly their v3 weights: question headings, a summary at the top, tables, author bylines, a visible update date and the stale-year penalty, with readability not significant. It matches pages on domain but not on retrieval, so where it disagrees with the retrieval-controlled studies, as on tables and lists, both are now cited. Two features the score does not measure, a table of contents (1.7x) and five or more H2s (1.6x), are noted as watch items because both partly track page length and are null once retrieval is controlled. OtterlyAI's page-format study and The Search Spot's AI Mode source-cut analysis are added as context: neither changes a criterion, and the second strengthens the limitation that page scores matter only once a page is retrieved and ranked.

Previous: v3.0.2: AirOps and Ahrefs evidence added. Next: v3.0.4: two watch metrics, no weight change.
